DOG TRAINING CLASSES
Pets Lifeline offers dog training classes for our community. We want to help keep pets happy in their homes by educating people about humane and responsible treatment and training of their companion pets, plus having a little fun.​​

NOTE: Classes are subject to cancellation if enrollment is low.

Current vaccination records are required. Please see below for specific requirements for each class.
Please do not bring your dog to training if your dog has any of the following symptoms: Sneezing, Coughing, Vomiting, or Diarrhea.

All classes are held at Pets Lifeline, 19686 8th Street East, Sonoma.

​All classes are 4-week sessions (with the exception of our 8-week Reactive Rover class which will renew in January).

Class size limited to 6 dogs.

Dogs attend all classes.

All 4-week class sessions - $145 or $120 (with proof of shelter animal adoption)

*8-week Reactive Rover class session $290 or $265 (with proof of shelter animal adoption)

For all classes:

We require the following vaccinations prior to the first class:

Under 1 year: 1 dose of Rabies, 3 doses of DA2PP and Bordetella booster within the last 6 months (Bordetella vaccine is only good for 6 months).

1-2 years: 1 dose of DA2PP, 1 dose of Rabies and Bordetella booster within the last 6 months. (Bordetella vaccine is only good for 6 months).

After 2 years: 3 year DA2PP, 3 year Rabies, Bordetella booster within the last 6 months (Bordetella vaccine is only good for 6 months).​

Please bring:

A mat/towel (bath mats work well).

Small treats for your dog.

Treat holder that you can wear on your waste or similar.​​​​​

Proof of vaccinations can be uploaded via the form or emailed promptly to programs@petslifeline.org in order to secure your spot.​ Records must be an itemized invoice/record from the veterinarian with the name and date of the vaccinations. For questions, call 707-996-4577.
