Dear Friends,
I want to thank each and every one of you for the support you have faithfully given on behalf of the animals in our community. Their happily ever after does begin with You. As I look back on my incredible journey with Pets Lifeline, the one thing that holds true throughout the years is our amazing community.
Pets Lifeline needs you now more than ever as we are experiencing a national crisis of an overabundance of animals in our shelters. We want to look to the future to figure out how to prevent animals from ending up in shelters and rescues. This year we touched the lives of over 946 animals, by sheltering over 500 lost and abandoned dogs and cats and spaying and neutering over 430 public animals for free. We found forever homes for over 425 dogs and cats and returned almost 100 lost animals to their worried owners.
The cost of pet food has increased, the cost of medications and vaccines has increased and more and more of the animals that come through our door require significant critical medical care before they can be adopted. We need YOUR help. 95% of the dogs in residence are adolescent large breed mutts (or American Shelter Dogs as we like to call them). These large breed dogs need more room, more food and more behavioral attention. We need YOUR help. Not too long ago, we had so many chihuahuas we didn’t know what to do. Now, the adopters are clambering for smaller dogs as the economy is unstable and let’s face it, small is less expensive. And lest we forget about our feline population which is as robust as ever, despite our spay/neuter program. This year we took in over 300 cats and kittens.
Together we built a legacy of protecting abandoned animals. Please let’s not abandon these poor creatures who find their way to our doors. By supporting our Annual Fund Drive with a donation that is meaningful for you, you help us do what we do best. Please know that no donation is too big or too small. We invite you to join our Champion Circle for a monthly giving plan (set it and forget it) or help with a one time annual donation to help us Save Lives!
I love this community. I am here to stay and will remain a Pets Lifeline supporter, just like all of you. Remember, their happily ever after begins with...YOU!

OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR DONORS
We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
This policy applies to all information received by Pets Lifeline both online and offline, on any Platform (‘Platform’, includes the Pets Lifeline's website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
DONATE
Which type of giving is best for you? There are so many ways to give to the animals and your community of pet lovers. Whether it is a monthly, yearly or a one-time donation, you are making difference.

General Donation
Pets Lifeline does not receive any funding from the City or County of Sonoma. 100% of our revenue comes from donations, fundraising events and service fees. Your generous donation will be used to provide care, food, veterinary services, spay/neuter, and other needs while an animal waits for adoption. Pets Lifeline thanks you for your generous donation.

Donate Stock
DonateStock is transforming charitable giving by making stock gifting easy and accessible for everyone. We’ve made it fast, safe and free to donate stock to charity. When you donate stock you can avoid capital gains tax on stock gifts while deducting the fair market value of the stock donation—resulting in substantial tax savings. It also allows the nonprofit to keep the proceeds from that would otherwise be paid to the IRS. When you donate stock to charity, everyone wins.
2023 Annual Fund Drive
Pets Lifeline is the only safe haven for homeless and abandoned cats and dogs in Sonoma Valley. Each year the demand for our services grows, yet expenses continue to exceed our donations. You can help ensure Pets Lifeline will always be here for Sonoma Valley's cats and dogs in need.
