On February 25, 2015 at 7:25am our staff arrived to find poor Willie tied up at our front gate. He was starving and very thin. It was heartbreaking to see and we had no idea how long he had been out there. This is NOT how we want people to surrender an animal.
Since he was abandoned he has been gaining weight, is very happy and loves people. As you can see now, he is doing well:
Willie is a one year old, male, American Pit Bull who likes to play with other dogs, but is not too interested in cats. Considering his past, he is such a forgiving dog. He is young and very active so he would do best in a home with adults or children over 10 years old. We have been doing some training with him and have discovered that he is a very smart boy and loves to work for food. We think he actually finds it fun when he is in training. He is just very happy to be interacting with you any way he can.
Willie would do well in an active home as he is always the first one at the door saying “Come on, let’s go have some fun!” Is that home yours? Who wants to have fun with this awesome guy? He deserves the very best home out there.
Willlie has been adopted! He has found his very own forever family and we are so happy for him. Look at these happy faces!!
