Adoption is a Family Affair

We encourage you to come and meet our cats and dogs either at the shelter or online by clicking on cats or dogsWe still have wonderful black cats as well as other colors. They are eagerly awaiting new homes.

Once you have had the opportunity to view our dogs or cats you will meet with one of our adoption counselors. Each pet available for adoption has received a medical examination and behavioral assessment in order to help identify the best home for that pet. Our counselors will help identify which animal is an appropriate match for your lifestyle, family and home. Just as some people prefer quiet, calm pets so do some dogs and cats prefer quiet, calm people!

If you do not find a new companion, your application is kept on file for six months.
