Pets Lifeline Joins the Global #GivingTuesday Movement
Pledging to Raise Funds for the Exclusive Use of Caring for Abandoned Cats & Dogs

Pets Lifeline protects and improves the lives of cats and dogs in Sonoma Valley through sheltering and adoption, humane education, and community programs. And this year, we are once again participating in the #GivingTuesday movement: a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

Three Easy Ways to Give
#GivingTuesday is about giving back to your community in any way you can whether that be a monetary donation, volunteering your time or just share how an organization has helped you or your community.

Sheltering animals in need is no easy task! It costs Pets Lifeline $23 per cat and $32 per dog a day to shelter these animals but were able to do so thanks to the generosity of Sonoma Valley.

Last year, residents showed their support of the Pets Lifeline's #GivingTuesday effort to the tune of $6500. This year, we are hoping to raise at least $15,000.

Volunteer

Pets Lifeline would be able to continue without the support of our dedicated and loving volunteers, who last year donated 6,479 hours of their time.

Volunteering can just be an hour or two of your time. We have a task for everyone from cleaning doggy bowls to socializing our kitties.
