Guidestar/Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency

Every year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. Candid finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters. Through research, collaboration, and training, Candid connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to do it. Candid's data tools on nonprofits, foundations, and grants are the most comprehensive in the world. Foundation Center and GuideStar joined forces to become Candid, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Pets Lifeline holds a Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level available.  This means that we share our financials, strategy, goals, information on our board and mission and metrics for success.

Fear Free

Fear Free has become one of the single most transformative initiatives in the history of companion animal practice, providing unparalleled education on emotional wellbeing, enrichment, and the reduction of fear, anxiety, and stress in pets and improving the experience of every human and pet involved.

Designed by leading experts in shelter medicine and animal behavior, the program helps animal shelters create a Fear Free experience for pets from intake to adoption and beyond. It also provides resources adopters and foster homes can use to promote the emotional wellbeing of the pets in their care and ease the transition to a new environment.

All of Pets Lifeline's staff and volunteers undertake a training course to become Fear Free Certified.

You can find more information about Fear Free certification here.
