An enthusiastic and dedicated group of volunteers support the work of Pets Lifeline. Here's how you can help:

  • Be a Pet Pal (walk, groom dogs, socialize cats and kittens)
  • Provide foster care for a dog or cat in your home
  • Help with periodic bulk mailings
  • Assist in fund-raising and special events
  • Do laundry, clean kennels
  • Join our Crafts Group (making seasonal items to sell)
  • Provide office support (filing, copying, answer the phone, etc.)
  • Help maintain our grounds as a gardener

To become a volunteer at Pets Lifeline, you must complete a Volunteer Application*, and attend a general orientation. Download the Adult Volunteer application here

*Junior Volunteers between the ages of 13 and 17 must complete our Junior Volunteer Application. Volunteers under the age of 13 are asked to have a parent fill out a Volunteer Application and be accompanied by that parent when at the Shelter.
